To apply for a driving license the following documents are required:
- A recent passport size photo (max 150 KB)
- A medical certificate from a registered doctor (max 600 KB). Click here for the medical certificate form.
- A scanned copy of the national ID card (max 600 KB)
- A scanned copy of the utility bill (max 600 KB), [if the current address on the national ID card is different from the present address, then a utility bill of the present address should be included].
- A scanned copy of the educational certificate (max 600 KB)
- One NID for the one user ID.
- The user profile must be fully filled with Division, district, and police station.
- Smart driving license applications will be submitted to the concerned BRTA (Bangladesh Road Transport) office under the police station mentioned in the user profile.
- If the smart driving license application is not made at the concerned BRTA office, the application can be made for a driving license from the menu.
- If false information is provided during the online application submission, legal action will be taken against the applicant along with the cancellation of the smart driving license.

Basically, one applicant has to go to BRTA office only one day for completing his written, practical and Bio-metric. After that, the qualified candidate will get the Driving License (smart card) from the authority to the candidate’s address.
